Family History

Adriano Ramos-Pinto, was a "post-phyloxera" individual, a brilliant entrepreneur (he was only 20 years old when he created the company Ramos Pinto), totally focused on trading port wine, marketeer to the tee evident in the bold promotional posters he had produced and their suggestive messages , intrepid conqueror of distant markets such as Brazil (where to ask for a glass of port it was sufficient to ask for an "Adriano"), in short: a visionary who created a solid company in just a few years.  Ramos Pinto became a reference in the sector and one whose strategy today, 100 years later, is still surprisingly current. 

ARP studied at the principal schools of viticulture in Bordeaux becoming the forerunner of wine marketing in the World.
